This three-day escape from Singapore takes you into a side of Johor that blends nature, adventure, and genuine local flavour, fruit farms, open trails, river cruises lit by fireflies, and beachside resort living with full access to SPLASH Water Park. It is the kind of trip that feels effortless because everything is handled. You arrive, you explore, and you go home full.
Day 1 — Arrival and Resort Check-In
Your journey begins with a pick-up from Singapore and a direct transfer to Lotus Beach Resort. Check in, settle in, and let Desaru do the rest. Your wristband gives you full access to the SPLASH Water Park, the gym, the swimming pool, and the private beach — use them freely throughout your stay. Day 1 is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Dinner and the evening are unstructured by design.
Day 2 — Desaru Fruit Farm Tour (Seat in Coach)
The centrepiece of your Desaru experience begins at 10:30am with a pick-up from Lotus Beach Resort and a guided tour of the Desaru Fruit Farm.
At 11:00am, a guided fruit farm tour introduces you to exotic tropical varieties and the stories behind them. By 11:45am, the Outdoor Petting Zoo opens up encounters with camels, ostriches, goats, and more. At 12:30pm, lunch is served alongside a Fruit Fiesta — local dishes, fresh tropical fruits, and flavours you will not find on Orchard Road.
The afternoon continues with an Indoor Petting Session from 1:30pm, where raccoons, alpacas, and miniature horses take centre stage. At 2:00pm, an ATV Ride puts you on the trails for 20 minutes of beginner-friendly terrain. Return to resort by 3:30pm.
An afternoon rest runs from 3:00pm to 5:45pm pool time, nap, or simply a slow afternoon at the beach.
Evening begins at 6:00pm with a pick-up for Seafood Dinner at Nelayan Restaurant. Butter crab, grilled prawns, and the kind of spread that earns its reputation. At 7:30pm, the Fireflies Cruise departs — a slow glide along the river as thousands of fireflies illuminate the mangroves overhead. Return to resort by 9:00pm for a proper night's rest.
Day 3 — Free and Easy, Return to Singapore
The final day is yours. A free and easy morning at the resort before your return transfer to Singapore.
